Raqib (رقيب) is an Arabic word that conveys the concept of oversight, monitoring, and accountability. The name reflects our mission: to bring transparency, trust, and data-driven governance to UAE building sustainability.

Not yet. Raqib is technically capable of integrating with both DEWA (smart meter data) and RERA's Mollak system (building verification). These integrations are built and ready.

However, go-live depends on finalising partnership agreements with these government entities. We are actively engaged in discussions and will announce both integrations as soon as agreements are in place.

Yes. Arabic support is built into Raqib’s core architecture, including right-to-left (RTL) interface capability and bilingual platform support.

Rather than retrofitting Arabic at a later stage, Raqib was designed from the outset to support the linguistic and operational requirements of the UAE and GCC markets, enabling a seamless experience for both English and Arabic-speaking users.

Raqib tracks four core sustainability metrics:

• Energy – Electricity, district cooling, gas, solar (kWh, cost estimates, intensity)
• Water – Total consumption, common area allocation, leak detection (m³, L/m²)
• Carbon – Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions (tCO₂e, kgCO₂e/m²)

All metrics support three normalisation modes: raw, per square metre, and per occupied unit.

Raqib is built on an application-immutable architecture:

• Raw scores are always stored – Never overwritten or deleted
• SHA-256 cryptographic hashing – Every change is tamper-evident
• Full audit trails – Every action logged with user and timestamp

These views respect role-based permissions and never expose raw building data where unauthorised.

Yes. Raqib offers a Free tier with:

• 1 building
• Energy tracking only
• Basic PDF reports
• 3 months of data retention

The Free tier is designed as a low-friction entry point – no credit card required.

All prices exclude 5% UAE VAT. Annual plans save 15% compared to monthly billing.

Yes – Workspace Owners can upgrade or downgrade self-serve:

• Upgrades – Take effect immediately with prorated billing
• Downgrades – Take effect at the next billing cycle
• Data preservation – All historical data is retained through any tier change
• Requirements check – Upgrades only proceed when onboarding criteria are met

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through Stripe's secure payment gateway. Enterprise customers may request invoicing with net-30 terms.

All plans are month-to-month with no long-term contract. You can cancel anytime from the billing dashboard – cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Your data is preserved for 90 days in case you return.

All Raqib data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure located in the UAE, ensuring compliance with local data protection regulations.

Yes. Raqib implements industry-standard security measures:

• Encryption at rest – AES-256 for all sensitive data
• Encryption in transit – TLS 1.3 for all API communications
• Tenant isolation – Complete logical separation between customer data

Currently, Raqib supports:

• CSV upload and manual entry – For all utility and waste data
• API readiness – Technical capability for DEWA and Mollak (RERA) integrations (pending agreements)

Additional integrations (ADDC, FEWA, SEC for KSA, property management systems) are on the roadmap.

Yes. Reports can be exported as PDF or CSV. Audit logs and raw data are also exportable where role permissions allow. All exports include metadata about the requesting user and role.

For the Free tier, onboarding is immediate – you can start tracking energy consumption within minutes.

For paid tiers, typical onboarding takes 1-3 business days, depending on:

• Building metadata completeness
• Data source connections (CSV upload, manual entry)
• Team member invitations and role assignments

Yes. We provide:

• Self-service – Video tutorials, help centre documentation, in-app guidance
• Live training (paid tiers) – Virtual onboarding sessions for your team
• Custom training (Enterprise) – On-site or tailored virtual sessions

If a payment fails, your account enters a 7-day grace period with read-only access. During this time, you can update your payment method to restore full access. After 7 days without payment, the account is cancelled and data is retained for 90 days before deletion.

Raqib helps building owners track progress toward the UAE's Net Zero 2050 strategic goals by:

• Carbon intensity tracking – Monitor kgCO₂e/m² over time
• Policy target comparison – See how your building compares to 2025, 2030, 2040, and 2050 reference targets
• Decarbonisation insights – Visualise your trajectory against national pathways (Post-MVP)

These comparisons are for informational reference only – not compliance certification.

Raqib provides visual indicators for alignment with:

• Al Sa'fat (Dubai) – Green building regulation alignment indicators
• Estidama (Abu Dhabi) – Sustainability performance tracking

We do not certify compliance – formal determination requires assessment by registered assessors. Raqib provides the data to support those assessments.

Currently, Raqib is optimised for DEWA tariff modelling (Dubai). Support for ADDC (Abu Dhabi), FEWA (Northern Emirates), and SEC (Saudi Arabia) is on the roadmap. All tiers support manual CSV upload and data entry for any utility provider.

Yes – through the Institutional Observer Access tier (Phase 3, Post-MVP). Regulators can access aggregated, anonymised sustainability data for policy visibility and strategic planning. This access is:

• Read-only and aggregation-only – No individual building data exposed
• Time-bound and renewable – Requires governance approval
• Audit-logged – All access tracked
